Day 10 - 1/4/17 - Loreto to Assisi
8:00am Mass at the Sanctuary of the Holy House in Loreto. More than 100 SSVM sisters showed up in Loreto while we were there for an 11:00am Mass. They were on their own pilgrimage/conference and it was a beautiful surprise for Sisters Constancy and Paradisi!!! We then traveled to Osimo to see St. Joseph Cupertino and have lunch at Osteria Moderna before driving to Assisi to visit St. Mary of the Angels and the Porziuncola Chapel where St. Francis heard God's call to restore his Church. We then drove up to Assisi within the walls, had dinner at our hotel, checked into our rooms, and walked for some gelato!
