Day 4 - Rome - Dec 29th morning and lunch

After an early breakfast, we left the hotel at 7:30am to visit the Basilica of St. Lawrence and then Santa Maria Maggiore (St. Mary Major) where we celebrated a 9:30am Mass.  After Mass we visited St. Peter in Chains, Cardinal Wuerl's titular church, followed by a visit to San Clemente where Mass has been celebrated in 94A.D.

At St. Mary Major holds a relic of the manger of Jesus. Five boards believed to be from Christ's crib were brought to the Church in the early 600s.
